Ethan Kerr

DEI & COMMUNITY PROGRAMS EXPERT

Ethan Kerr is a facilitator, consultant and educator, committed to equity and collective liberation. Blending more than 15 years of experience in anti-racist facilitation, somatic group work, embodied meditation practices, restorative circles, and leadership development, Ethan created Embodied Equity Project. As an able-bodied, heterosexual, cis-gendered white man, he acknowledges the paradoxes and limitations, as well as the opportunities and obligations, of facilitating this work. He partners with organizations, businesses, schools, and individuals nationally, challenging people to align their behavior with their values. Ethan has received training from the Untraining, the Hero’s Journey Foundation, the People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond, Fierce Allies, Paul Kivel, and Visions, among many others. He earned his M.S.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Bank Street Graduate School and his B.S. from Bates College. He lives with his family in the Hudson Valley on Lenape land.

Stevie-Jean Placek

Stevie-Jean (She/Her/Hers) currently serves as the zoom producer and executive assistant for ÁPC.

Stevie-Jean is from Temecula, California, and is a working actor in Los Angeles. As an artist, she believes that words have the power to make a change, and she loves that this belief aligns with ÁPC's practices.

Her meticulous work ethic, hunger to learn, and compassion are traits that will continue to help her support the ÁPC team.
